Phone won't charge - Check these

If your phone does not charge, the most likely reason for this is either a faulty battery or charging port. The fault can also be caused by many other things, for example:

- Faulty wire

- Faulty charger

- Software error

Do this

  1. If the battery is empty, charge the device with sufficient power for 10-20 minutes and try to start again by holding down the power button for 10 seconds.
  2. Make sure there is no dirt or dust in the charging port and clean the charging port carefully with e.g. a toothpick or a paper clip. However, be careful not to scratch the charging port.
  3. First, test whether the charging works normally with a different cable.
  4. If changing the charging cable does not help, test charging with a different charger.
  5. Check the device for any external damage that could have damaged the charging port or battery.
  6. If the fast charging of the phone works slowly, also make sure that the charger and the cable support fast charging (the volt and amperage values match each other).
  7. Make sure the end of the charging cable is long enough. In IP68 phones and phones with a large battery, the charging port may be deeper than usual and may require a separate adapter or a compatible cable, where the charging head is also longer than normal.
  8. If these steps didn't help and the charging problem is still there, please do a factory reset on the phone. There may be a software error in the battery calibration, and the software is reset by restoring the factory settings.
