This is how you reset the phone to factory settings
Dela
If the phone has been in use for several years and the phone has started to show signs of slowing down, restoring the factory settings is the easiest way to make the phone faster.
Over time, the phone's memory fills up and the phone accumulates a lot of extra software that can remain running in the background. Restoring the factory settings makes the phone feel almost like new.
Factory settings can be restored in two different ways
Restoring via the menuIf the phone starts normally, the easiest way to reset the factory settings is directly from the menu.
- Open Settings
- Select System
- Open Advanced Settings
- Select Recovery Options
- Erase all data (restore factory settings)
- Reset the phone
If for some reason you cannot access the Settings menu, you can also restore the factory settings from the phone's recovery mode using the volume keys.
- Press the volume up and power button at the same time for about 10 seconds.
- Let go when the image of the android robot appears on the screen
- Press the power button down for a moment.
- Select "Wipe data/factory reset" from the menu. NOTE! This will delete all data stored on the phone!
- Use the volume up/down keys to scroll and the power button to select.
- Tap "yes" if you are sure you want to perform the reset.
If you run into an Android bug and the text "No Command" appears on the screen, you can get past it by pressing the power button and the volume up button for a second.
